So this is the pink jewelry quilt I made last Friday.Again this is a combined piece Flowermouse create the pink square and the fuzzy rectangle is my own. The fabrics were gift and recycled.

Inchies influence
So I’ve been hosting a Inchies swap for about a year now and these pages probably show that influence the most.I’m also getting interested in tactial surfaces as I currently am enjoying creating art by being an assistant to a group of visually impaired artists.We have lots of fun.The group stretch and stimulate me and this is showing in my work.

The thing I miss about community events in England is the community.Today there was a Rock in the Park event in Wantage, the town I left from to adventure in the US.Yes I was very tired when I wonder if the Queen Mum would be at the wedding and thanks to Ian for informing us that she’d be 107 !

I used swap pieces as accents for the book.As I send postal swaps all over the world it is a fun way to craft.

Fantasy
How did you get to be crafty is a question I get asked all the time.I think know it’s part genetics.My Mum is crafty and for that matter my Dad makes amazing fused class.
It goes back further my Great Aunt Kathy she owned an autograph book with is dated 1924-1947.I became the custodian of this book this winter and have decided to use it as a focus for projects.
This is the first of a growing collection.
